Description
The Community Support Register gives you confidence that if you are unable to provide information (say, due to accident or illness) your medical details and who to notify are readily available to the relevant authorities. The Ballarat & District Community Support Register is a project of the Ballarat Neighbourhood Centre.
Activities
Details are entered and managed on a confidential computer database. Authorised volunteers will provide telephone welfare checks to participants on a regular basis. They may also pass information onto emergency services if needed.
This is a free service.

Dispute Settlement Centre of Victoria - Ballarat
Description
The Dispute Settlement Centre of Victoria (DSCV) is a service provided by the Department of Justice and Regulation. It provides free and confidential dispute resolution services. The DSCV can help you resolve a wide range of disputes without having to resort to taking legal action.
Activities
DSCV can help resolve common neighbourhood disputes; disputes about anti-social behaviour including bullying; workplace disputes; disputes within schools; disputes within committees and clubs. The DSCV offer practical strategies, mediation services, education programs and conflict resolution workshops. The DSCV can arrange an interpreter if required and can accommodate people with disabilities and those from culturally diverse backgrounds.

Pomegranate House Community Psych Services

Activities
We provide psychological intervention for mental health issues for adults, young adults, children and/or their families. Priority will be given to marginalised and financially disadvantaged people. Fees are based on family income.
All referred clients to Pomegranate House will be requested to make an appointment with a GP for development of a Mental Health Treatment Plan to enable access to the service.

Victims Assistance Program – Grampians Region
Description
The Victims Assistance Program (VAP) provides information, practical support and service referrals to victims of a violent crime, or anyone affected by a violent crime. If you have been impacted by family violence, sexual assault, physical assault, homicide or another violent crime, this program can support you. The Victims Assistance Program is available for direct victims of a violent crime, to those who witness, or provide assistance at the scene of a violent crime, and to family members of a

Our Victims Assistance Program can support you by providing:
- referrals to additional support services, such as solicitors, counselling and therapeutic services
- information about the criminal justice system
- advocacy on the victim’s behalf
- help in making statements to police and courts
- support at court and VOCAT hearings
- assistance with preparation of Victim Impact Statements and submissions to the Adult Parole Board
